The Boundary Museum depicts the simple country life of rural BC from the turn of the century. The artifacts reflect the region’s roots, culture, and industry. Focusing is on the area’s heritage; most artifacts have been donated by the original pioneers or their decedents. Many artifacts are homemade, which illustrate the industriousness of our pioneers. “... the artifacts displayed have meaning to the pioneers of the district as I feel they are the true “professionals” when it comes to the history of the Boundary.” Bob DeMærteleaere, Vice President (present), Boundary Museum Society. “Fructova School Recycle” Boundary Museum Newsletter, Volume 4, Issue 1, March 2009. |
